FDeny – this term is a computer status indicating a future denial. When a household applying for SNAP benefits fails to appear for, or comply with the first scheduled interview, the worker denies the application using reason 59. This causes the system to place the application in FDeny or future denial status and issue a Notice of Missed Interview (NOMI) instead of a denial notice. While in FDeny status, an application continues to pend until the 30th day unless the worker certifies the benefit or denies it for a different reason. Policy regarding this term is located at:
- SNAP:
- 340:50-3-2. Interview process;
- 340:50-9-1. Determining the food benefit allotment.
