DHS may establish an enrollment freeze when funding is not available to provide child care benefits to all eligible families. In the event of an enrollment freeze, no new applications will be approved; however, existing child care clients may continue to receive child care unless their cases are closed for more than 30-calendar days. DHS may establish designated priority groups of persons who may continue to apply for and be approved for child care benefits during an enrollment freeze period.
