Microsoft Outlook 2010: How to Attach Voting Buttons to Email

The following are instructions for attaching voting buttons to an email. After opening Outlook and selecting New E-mail

  • Go to Options Tab
    A new outlook email with a red arrow pointing at the "Options" menu item.
  • Click on Use Voting Buttons
  • Select Approve/Reject
    A new outlook email with a red arrow pointing at the "Approve/reject" menu item.
    This would give the recipients of your email the option to vote on your request.

As each individual selects a response, you will receive a message. To view results:

  • Pull up the original from your Sent Box
    A new outlook email with the "Options" menu item focused.
  • Click on the Message Tab
  • Click on Tracking Icon
    A new outlook email with the "Tracking" menu item focused.

This will display your recipients’ names, their response, and the date it was submitted. You can print the tracking page to attach to your Signature Routing Form.
