Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT): CARDR IMS Screen

CARDR screen is used to schedule/request cards for print.

To Schedule a card for print (non retail staff instructions)

To access this screen, type CARDR into IMS and press enter.

If you are scheduling a card for print, use 00M for SNAP cards and 55G for cards that have childcare and/or SNAP link. Fill in the county office with appropriate county code, county office action “S” and the case #. Then you will select a “P” for primary card holder, or “A” for authorized representative. Also select “Y” or “N” for whether childcare is needed.

You will notice the person’s name will show on the “Name” block and a message appears on the bottom of the screen to confirm that the information is correct and request we validate ID. If we have ID on file and we have verified ID, confirm this block by inputting “Y”.

If all is correct, select enter again and the card is sent to print. Please allow 7-10 business days for cards to make it to the customer.

To Schedule a card for print (Retail staff)

To access this screen, type CARDR into IMS and press enter.

Type in County office you are printing for, in this case we are using 14c. Notice that it will say the county office beside it once inputted. Type “R” for requesting the card.

Fill in the blocks case #, whether the person is primary (P) or authorized representative (A). And tab to childcare block. Mark yes (Y) or no (N). Notice it will input the name of the individual. Confirm all information.

Notice that the information listed on the bottom of the screen shows that we must verify ID to continue. Once we have seen ID, put “Y” in ID field.

Press enter.

Await instructions from EPS as they prepare the card to be printed. To refresh your screen, select enter. Once card is printed to your EBT machine, please confirm the last 4 digits match what is listed on the “comments” section below by selecting “Y”. Make sure that you log the card using your EBT log as instructed by your office.
