A student enrolled in an institution of higher education at least half-time per may not receive SNAP benefits unless the student meets an exemption. An institution of higher education is a college, university, business, technical trade or vocational school that normally requires a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, such as a GED, for enrollment.
If the student is attending an institution of higher education, please answer the questions below:

· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

| 2. Is the student age 17 or younger or age 50 or older?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

| 3. Is the student a person with a physical or mental disability?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

| 4. Is the student responsible for a dependent household member under age 6?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue. (If both parents are students and there is more than one child under age 6, both parents may claim responsibility for a child and meet eligibility criteria.)

| 5. Is the student a single parent responsible for a child under age 12?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue. (Eligibility exists regardless of the availability of adequate child care.)

| 6. Is the student responsible for a dependent household member over age 6 but under 12 who does not have adequate child care?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

| 7. Is the student employed an average of at least 20 hours per week or 80 hours per month and paid for that employment or, if self-employed, averaging 80 hours per month and grossing at least the federal minimum wage times 80?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

| 8. Is the student on Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.
|
| 9. Is the student approved for federal or state work study funds and does the student anticipate working at a work study job during the current school term?
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue. (There must be a work study job available for the student and they must anticipate working.)

| 10. Is the student assigned or placed in school through or in compliance with an employment and training program? This includes WIOA, an employment and training program such as OK SNAP Works, and a Trade Adjustment Assistance program (TAA).
· If Yes, stop here. Student is eligible. If No, continue.

IF ALL ANSWERS ARE “NO”, THE STUDENT IS AN INELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER.
