Long Term Care (LTC): CD-PASS

Service Information

The Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services and Supports (CD-PASS) service option offers ADvantage Members the opportunity to direct decisions regarding personal care services.

Instead of using a home care agency that sends a personal care aide to provide services, the CD-PASS service option empowers the Member and allows them to become the employer and hire their own employee, a personal assistant or PSA.

Once the service plan hours are determined, the Member will negotiate pay with the employee (within the maximum limit) and develop a schedule that is suitable to both the Member and the employee. The time sheet is submitted to Access who pays the claims. It can be mailed, faxed or emailed to address on the timesheet.

Who is eligible for CD-PASS?

An individual who is eligible for ADvantage services and:

  • Is able to direct his or her care, with or without an authorized representative’s assistance
  • Elects to receive CD-PASS services

How does a member enroll in CD-PASS?

Members who would like to enroll in the CD-PASS service option may call the ADvantage Administration at 918-933-4941 (direct) or toll-free at 1-800-435-4711, for more information.

During this call, the Member is encouraged to ask questions to determine whether this option may be right for them.

For additional information refer to the CD Pass Service Option page.
