What’s the Difference Between 1st and 2nd Deadlines?
Negative actions taken on all cases except child care must be completed prior to the 1st deadline to allow for a 10 day notice to be sent to the client.
If the client provides a written statement waiving their 10 day notice, action can be taken after the 1st deadline.
The exception to the rule is if a client moves out of state. In this instance, the case can still be closed up to the 2nd deadline without a written statement.
Positive case actions can be completed up until the 2nd deadline.
Deadlines for the year are found in Appendix B2. This can also be found on the Forms page of the InfoNet.
Please note: Appendix B2 is updated each year.
