OK SNAP Works is a partnership between Oklahoma Department of Human Services and community agencies. The providers are located in Oklahoma, Tulsa, Pittsburg, Muskogee, Okmulgee, McIntosh, and Haskell counties, but individuals in surrounding counties can participate if they have transportation.

Oklahoma County Partners

• Work Ready Oklahoma delivers integrated services to help Oklahomans rapidly regain employment, mitigate their risk of future job loss, and advance along career pathways.
• Goodwill of Central Oklahoma helps people overcome challenges to employment by offering a variety of programs that get participants career ready. From short-term digital skills development, to the Goodwill Career Pathways Institute for accredited certifications, Goodwill offers several locations to assist clients.
• TEEM breaks cycles of incarceration and poverty in Oklahoma by providing education, social services, job training and placement.

Tulsa County Partners

• Goodwill TulsaWORKS Career Academy helps participants move upward by providing engaging career training programs, continuing education seminars and certifications in demand-driven career fields.
• Madison Strategies Group’s innovative approach works to understand employer’s skill gap needs and connect individuals to free technical training, full-time job placement and career advancement coaching.

Specialty Providers that Offer Services to Individuals Already in their Program

• Women in Recover (WIR) is an intensive outpatient alternative for eligible women facing long prison sentences for non-violent drug-related offenses.
• Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) offers individuals just coming home from prison the ongoing support necessary to build career capital and financial stability. We believe that everyone, regardless of their past, deserves the chance to work toward a stronger future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
• Homeless Alliance offers assistance to Oklahomans most in need. Homeless Alliance has several employment and training programs tailored to people transitioning out of homelessness. Programs include immediate day labor to long-term vocational training at OSU-OKC.
• Remerge serves mothers of minor children who are facing non-violent felony charges in Oklahoma County. ReMerge is a four phase program that first acts to stabilize moms and build a foundation for recovery, and provides practical skills needed to rebuild their lives and their families.
