As Adult and Family Services staff you are required to offer voter registration to applicants and recipients. You must also provide clients with assistance to complete the voter registration form. Failure to meet this federal mandate can lead to substantial penalties for DHS.
AFS requires annual training concerning the National Voter Registration Act. An online training course is available in the Learning Management System. Your completion will be tracked in the LMS giving you credit for your annual training requirement.
To access the training follow these steps:
- Log-in to the Learning Management System
- Click ‘Find Learning’ tab to display drop down menu.
- Select ‘All Courses’
- Select National Voter Registration Act from the Online Course Menu
