IMS: Child Support – OBLI

OBLI is an inquiry screen showing child support obligation information. OBLI is used to view primary elements of the obligation record.

To view this screen:

  1. Login to IMS
  2. Clear the screen.
  3. Type OBL < space> and the family group number (FGN)
  4. Press ‘Enter’
  5. From the OBL screen, tab to obligation you want to review and enter OBLI

In this example the OBLI screen shows that the Non-Custodial Parent (NCP) has been court ordered to pay $151.67 per month for current child support, $50.00 for judgement and $100.00 cash medical for a total monthly due of $301.67. This court order is for one child.

Field Descriptions

Field Field Description
IA? Income Assignment Indicator:

  • Y – Immediate IA provision in order
  • N – No IA provision
  • O – Separate IA ordered
  • D – IA the court
IA MO JG Income Assignment monthly judgement amount
SUPP ORD Support Ordered Indicator:

  • Y – Yes
  • N – No
TOT MO SP Total monthly support amount
TOT C.S. Total child support amount
PER CHLD/ALL Support per child or all children:

P – Per Child

A – All Children
NO. CHLD Number of children
FIX MD Monthly fixed medical amount
CASH MD Monthly cash medical amount
CM/INS Cash Medical / Insurance

  • P  – Permanent cash medical support ordered
  • B – Cash medical ordered for some children, insurance ordered for other children
  • C – Cash medical ordered until insurance is available
  • I – Insurance policy ordered only, no cash medical
  • Blank – Cash medical order status not known.
