Leadership: County Director Process – Return to Work

Return to Work applies to instances of:

  • Sickness
  • Injury
  • Medical Limitations

Job related accident / injury the applicable “Return to Work” form from Workers Comp packet or statement from the attending physician on his or her form. If non Workers Comp “Return to Work” form is used, vet the details of the form through FMLA compliance or Risk and Safety Management.

When restrictions are required or recommended, reference Policy OKDHS:2-15-7.1.

Meet with the employee to see if policy criteria can be explored or to see if reasonable accommodations are needed in consultation with agency ADA coordinator.
