The information below describes how to handle OnBase/Current documents regarding the Energy Assistance (EA) programs (Winter Heating, Summer Cooling, Energy Crisis Assistance Program, or Life Threating).
Energy Assistance (EA) ONLY
When documents have been requested by or provided for the EA program and NO other applications are pending, the information is uploaded into OnBase. The notification should be cancelled so it does not create a task in Current. There is no need to email LIHEAP2 to inform us the documents were provided. If documents were provided timely and uploaded into OnBase the EA eligibility staff will find them.
The exception to this process is if the written document is a hearing request for the EA program. For a written EA hearing request, the notification should be cancelled so it does not create a task in Current. Email LIHEAP2@okdhs.orgwith the case number and name let us know there is an EA hearing request in OnBase.
Energy Assistance (EA) and AFS Programs
When documents have been requested by or provided for EA and any other AFS programs, upload the information into OnBase and do NOT cancel the notification to Current. The assigned staff will take appropriate action. There is no need to email LIHEAP2 to inform us the documents were provided. If documents were provided timely and uploaded into OnBase the EA eligibility staff will find them.
