OHCA no longer issues or prints plastic Medical ID cards. Providers can verify a member’s eligibility online through the Eligibility Verification System (“Provider Network”).
If a member needs a printed Medical ID card for medical purposes or to access community resources, they may visit their local OKDHS retail location to obtain a printed copy.
Instructions for Staff
OKDHS staff can print a copy of a member’s Medical ID card through MMIS Extranet:
- Enter the member’s information in the Eligibility tab.
- Click “Display Member ID Card.”
- Print the Medical ID card, which includes the front and back of the card.
MMIS Extranet can be used to print Medical ID cards for most programs, including ABD-related programs and SoonerCare.
System Limitations
- Agency View can only be used to print SoonerCare Medical ID cards.
SoonerSelect subplan cards cannot be printed from either MMIS Extranet or Agency View. The members will need to directly contact their Sooner Select plan.
