AFS Policy: Alien Registration Number

Alien registration number – this is an eight or nine digit number assigned by the Department of Homeland Security to certain aliens.  Staff will enter this number in the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlement (SAVE) system to determine a non-citizen’s legal status.
