Assessment tools – assessment tools are used for persons applying for TANF to determine the participant’s skills, abilities, and barriers. Assessment tools used are the Washington State Learning Disability Screen, the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) locator, the TABE battery, the Career Occupation Preference System (COPS), Key Train, and Career Readiness Certification.
