For SSI-DCP Services, the Social Services “E” section (Child Care) must be opened, and the child needs to be added to the social services benefit.
- If no previous disability medical case exists for the child, a new case will need to be created.
Please refer to article IMS: How Do I Create a D Case for a Child - Once a case has been created, be sure to add the child to social services on the Household Tab in Interview Notebook.
- Select Child Care Tab in Eligibility Notebook and complete the following fields.
- Application Source – CHOOSE THE MOST APPROPRIATE RESPONSE
- Action Taken – OPEN
- Request Date: Request Date of SSI-DCP*
- Certification Date: Request Date of SSI-DCP*
- Effective Date: Request Date of SSI-DCP*
- Date of Last Review: Request Date of SSI-DCP*
- Effective Months: 99
- Number of Children Receiving Child Care: Enter 01
*Note: This date refers to the day that the household requests SSI-DCP services.
No information needs to be entered on the Auth. Daycare tab in Eligibility Notebook unless the household applies and is eligible for Child Care Subsidy benefits.
