Reflection – Helpful Tips for Reflection / IMS

The following tips may be helpful as you use the Reflection program / IMS.

Make your IMS and Reflection passwords the same.
Press Control (Ctrl) and F1 key to return to the DSD (IMS) Main Menu screen
Use the following criteria when creating your password:
- Use exactly 8 characters that have:-
  - At least one number
  - At least one upper case letter
  - At least one lower case letter
  - At least one of these special characters (@, #, $)
To stop the cursor from blinking in IMS –
- Click “Setup” on the menu bar
- Select “Terminal”
- Select the “Display” tab on the Terminal Setup window.
- Uncheck the “Blinks” box under the cursor heading.
- Select “Ok”
To enable the copy / paste feature in IMS –
- Click “Edit” on the menu bar
- Select “Copy/Paste Settings” window
- Check the “Restore” box under the paste heading/
- Select “Ok”
