SNAP: Work Registrant – Failure to Comply with Work Registration

If a client fails to comply with work requirements or work registration, the client will be ineligible for benefits (disqualified from 30 days to 180 days, depending on the number of occurrences).

Disqualification Periods:

  • 1st Strike: 30 days
  • 2nd Strike: 90 days
  • 3rd Strike: 180 days
NOTE: If you have a client who has failed to comply with work requirements, please update the case notes and staff with Supervisor to email the SNAP mailbox. SNAP PFR’s will assign the disqualification to the household member. Refer to ITS 340:50-5-87 for additional information.
