Any person who loses their exemption due to a change in circumstances that is not subject to the reporting requirements must register for employment at their household’s next recertification.
Example 1:
Gary, at the time of his SNAP certification, was working 35 hours a week, and was exempt from work registration requirements under employed at Least 30 Hours per Week. A month prior to his re-certification coming due, his work hours were cut to 25 hours per week.
Gary would now be required to register for employment at his re-certification.
