The Way2Go Debit Card
OKDHS no longer issues paper checks. All benefits are paid via prepaid debit cards issued by a third-party vendor.
- Shipping: Cards arrive in a plain white envelope (not labeled “DHS”) within 7–10 business days of issuance.
- One Card Policy: All DHS benefits (except Child Support) go onto the same card.
- Replacement: If a client loses or discards their card, they must call the vendor directly:
- Child Support: 1-888-929-2460
- All Other Programs: 1-888-401-9843
Direct Deposit
Important: Front-line staff cannot set up or change direct deposit for a client. This must be handled by the client through the vendor.
How Clients Set Up Direct Deposit:
- By Phone: Call the number on the back of the Way2Go debit card.
- Online: Visit the Way2Go website to create an account.
Through the website, clients can:
- Open or close a direct deposit account.
- Track their transaction history.
