36A: Closure code for the automatic expiration of the certification period or when the Certification Renewal (CR) was not completed.

36S: Closure code when mid-certification renewal was not completed or when the household is no longer eligible after review.

ABD Related Medical Case: SSP, QMB, SLMB, or QI-1 benefits on a case.

Annual Reporter:  Simplified SNAP reporter household in which all adult members are elderly or disabled with no earned income.  The certification period is 24 months, and the mid-certification renewal is due by the last day of the 12^th month.  These households must report changes when the household income exceeds the maximum gross income for the household size, there is substantial lottery or gambling winnings, there is a decrease in work hours below an average of 20 hours per week (or 80 hours per month) for any household member meeting the ABAWD work rules, incarceration over 30 days, or moves out of state.

Authorized Representative: There are two different kinds of authorized representatives.

1. A person who is knowledgeable of the household circumstances and who is designated in writing to act on behalf of the household in applying for and obtaining food benefits.
2. A person who is approved to be issued an EBT card to use the household’s SNAP benefits on their behalf – also known as an additional cardholder.

Certification Renewal (CR): This term is used to describe the renewal of SNAP benefits in the final month of eligibility.

Change Reporter: SNAP household that is not an annual or semi-annual simplified reporter.  The certification period is between 1 and 4 months.  There is no renewal process, and the household must report all changes.

Expedited Services (EO): SNAP applications eligible for expedited processing within 7 calendar days.

Initial Application: A SNAP application for a case that has never had benefits or has had a break in service of at least one day since the last issuance of food benefits.

Mid-Certification Renewal (MCR): This term is used to describe the review due in the middle of the certification period for benefits to continue.

OKDHSLive: A web-based system which allows clients to complete applications and benefit renewals and screen themselves for other benefits for which they may be eligible.

Proxy: A proxy consists of entering the household’s information that the applicant reports into the OKDHSLive system.  It is not an interview.

Semi-Annual Reporter: Simplified SNAP reporter household that is not annual or change reporter.  The certification period is 12 months, and the mid-certification renewal is due by the last day of the 6^th month.

S/EO: Issued when a household is determined eligible for expedited services with postponed verification.  The applicant’s identity must be verified, and an interview must be conducted.

Time Limited Recipient or Able Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWD): A SNAP household member who is a time-limited participant and must comply with work requirements to be eligible for SNAP benefits for more than three countable months during any 36-month period.
