Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) removes (expunges) a household’s inactive SNAP electronic benefit transfer (EBT) benefits after 274 days of inactivity. The household will receive an Expungement Notice at least 30 days before OKDHS begins expunging the benefit.
If the worker hears from one of these households, advise the household to make a purchase or a return. Once the household makes a purchase or return expungement will stop as OKDHS will no longer consider the EBT account inactive.
OKDHS may not restore expunged benefits.
