OSBI background check – OSBI is an acronym for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI). When DHS or an individual completes an OSBI Criminal History Request Form and pays the required fee, OSBI staff checks the criminal history of an individual and compiles a report. AFS requires OSBI background checks for certain TANF Work activities and child care providers. Policy regarding this term is located at:
