OHCA Online Enrollment: Who is Covered Through Online Enrollment?

The eligibility for non-disabled children, non-disabled adults with children, and pregnant women (aka SoonerCare) is determined through the Oklahoma Health Care Authority’s online enrollment system. As of June 2021, they have expanded their range to also include anybody ages 19-64 who fall within 138% of the federal poverty level.

The only exceptions are individuals who are:

  • Categorically related to Medicaid because they are aged, blind or disabled
  • Included in a TANF benefit
  • Included for Continued Medical Benefits
  • Requesting or receiving personal care services
  • Requesting or receiving ADvantage
  • Requesting or receiving nursing home care
  • Children in OKDHS custody
  • Requesting or approved for alien emergency services

OKDHS will continue to determine eligibility for those persons that are not served by Online Enrollment. Following the First Contact Resolution procedure, it is encouraged that we work through Agency view if we are assisting an individual who has come to OKDHS and need help filling out the OHCA’s Soonercare application online.
