Counties may have various organizations/committees such as ERC, Black Heritage, Relay for Life, Welcome, Safety, Wellness, and Etc., which conduct meetings, fundraisers, and other various functions and activities within the County Office.
The County Director should provide oversight to these committees to ensure ethical operational standards are being met and disciplined guidelines concerning monetary practices are being kept.

It is good practice to have each committee submit a “General Statement of Purpose” each year that includes the organizations intentions and the member guidelines to refer to should a problem arise.
