When the client reports an address change, the information will need to be updated by the field staff. This will ensure that all benefit sections have been addressed correctly. Policy: 340:20-1-12(4), 340:20-1-14 ITS(2)
Energy Assistance (EA) staff will make an address change using the OKDHSLIVE Web Utility, located on the Adult and Family Services Infonet page, or the Information Management System TR transaction.
Sometimes the client will report an address change to the liheap2 mailbox. In those situations, EA program staff will upload the email into OnBase which will generate an action in Current for field staff.
If the client was a preauthorization and reports timely within 10 days of the preauthorization notice an address change and an account number change, the field staff will need to update the address then transfer the client to the energy assistance queue or let them know to call 405-522-5050 and select the Energy Assistance options to request a preauthorization correction.
EA staff submit a preauthorization correction that have been reported timely using the Pre-Auth Corrections App.
EA program staff will process the timely requests for a preauthorization correction.
If the preauthorization household reports timely within 10 days of the preauthorization notice the new account number and the household composition has not changed. Based on the information used for the preauthorization, we may be able to update the new account number.
If the preauthorization household reports timely within 10 days of the preauthorization notice the new account number and the household composition has changed based on the information used for the preauthorization, we will not update the new account information. The preauthorization will be closed, and the client will need to apply during general open enrollment so eligibility can be determined. Policy 340:20-1-14(1)(C)
