When a client applies for energy assistance benefits and does not have an open case, the OKDHSLive system will put the E section in application status.
The Energy Assistance (EA) staff will determine eligibility for the energy assistance application and the E section will be denied.
If the client is not eligible, the E section can be denied on reason 07 for ineligible provider. Denying the E section will not impact the energy assistance application.
The energy assistance application resides in OnBase. To check to see if the client has a current energy assistance application access OnBase.
Energy assistance applications show as 830 AFS Application/Renewal. You will need to view the application to ensure the client applied for energy assistance.
On page one of the application is the question applying for energy assistance. If it is marked yes, then it is an energy assistance application: example shown here.
