Employability planning – a term used in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program when the worker and the TANF participant develop a plan for securing employment using information gathered from assessment tests and other relevant information. The employability plan includes establishing both short and long term goals, including specific occupational goals, activities, and services which are necessary to achieve the goals. The worker and TANF participant initiate and revise the plan using form 08TW002E, TANF Work/Personal Responsibility Agreement. Policy regarding this term is located at:
