The following outlines instructions on when a SNAP case is denied using an incorrect denial code. For instance worker denied SNAP application on reason code 03-earned income instead of using reason code ’14 other income’.
Contact the AFS Help Desk Staff (Remedy) and request that the incorrect denial action AND notice be deleted.

Once the denial is deleted, deny the case with the appropriate denial code.
**Remember to contact remedy on the same date as the mistake was made**
The eligibility system will not generate a notice when a second denial action is taken the same day and the HELP DESK can only delete an action if the worker contacts them the same day the action is taken.
