Work activities – TANF participants must participate in work activities to help make them employment ready. Work activities are defined as core and non-core and must be scheduled, structured, and supervised. The SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) Program also requires all able-bodied food benefit recipients subject to work registration to be involved in meaningful work related activities that lead to paid employment and a decreased dependency on assistance programs.
