Blended school age unit type – a Child Care Subsidy unit type that may be authorized when a child needs care four hours or fewer per day Monday through Friday when school is in session and more than four hours per day Monday through Friday on school holidays. Currently in Oklahoma, there is only one blended unit type. It is traditional (9 month school).
Previously, there was a second blended type: extended school (year-round). Currently, Oklahoma does not participate in that structure. Therefore, will not be able to be utilized within our current eligibility process. . Policy regarding this term is located at:
- Child Care Subsidy:
- 340:40-5-1. Child Care plan;
- 340:40-13-3. Child care payments and rates.
